Our Mission

Paradise Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to a simple, life-saving goal: to give every homeless pet a soft place to land, a lot of love, and a fresh start. We strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where compassion and cuteness collide as we work to unite pets with their forever families.

Our History and Purpose

Since our founding in 2002, we have been committed to helping animals in Lapeer and surrounding counties. Over the past two decades, we have successfully spayed, neutered, vaccinated, and found loving homes for thousands of dogs and cats who had nowhere else to turn.

A Promise of Care

We are a volunteer-based, adoption-guarantee organization, meaning we do not euthanize any animal in our care due to a lack of space or the length of their stay. Every pet we rescue receives comprehensive medical care, including spaying or neutering, testing, and vaccinations. Our dedicated team provides daily socialization, training, and enrichment to ensure our furry friends feel safe and loved while they wait for their new beginning.
