At Cape Coral Animal Shelter, we are dedicated to fostering a special bond between people and animals through exceptional adoption services, compassionate medical care, and community education. We believe every life has a story and that every animal deserves a safe, loving, and forever home.
Our Story
Our organization was built on the belief that we can change the future for homeless animals in our community. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill shelter, we provide a haven for animals in need, and we are currently working on a major expansion to more than triple our space and increase our life-saving impact.

We provide a safe, nurturing environment for animals where they receive the care they need while awaiting their perfect match. Our dedicated team and network of foster families work tirelessly to provide medical attention, socialization, and emotional support for pets who have faced abandonment or neglect. We also support the public through our full-service, affordable veterinary clinic.

Cape Coral detectives are working to determine how a dog found in a crate on the side of the road died. To aid the investigation, police used ChatGPT to generate an image of what the dog might have looked like alive.
