Saving Grace Animals for Adoption is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment for dogs from under-resourced, rural shelters across North Carolina. We strive to foster lifelong, loving connections that place these well-deserving dogs into permanent homes where they are treated as cherished family members.
Founded in 2004 by Molly Goldston, Saving Grace began with a vision to provide a second chance to dogs that had nowhere else to go. Since our founding, we have grown from a small operation into a dedicated community that has successfully placed over 50,000 dogs into happy homes.
Operating as a non-profit that is 95% volunteer-run, we provide a non-traditional shelter experience at our farm in Wake Forest. Our facility features an onsite, dedicated spay/neuter and wellness clinic, which allows us to provide critical medical care, vaccinations, and specialized surgeries to every dog that comes into our program. This model ensures each animal receives the preparation and care needed for a healthy, stable future.
We believe in building successful, long-term partnerships between our dogs and their new families through a thoughtful, counselor-guided matching process. By spending time getting to know each dog's unique temperament and needs, we help you find the companion that best fits your lifestyle and home dynamic. Our goal is to ensure that both you and your new best friend feel confident and supported from the moment you meet.
Your new family member may be waiting to meet you at our farm today. We invite you to view our available dogs on our website, submit an adoption request, or explore our volunteer and support opportunities to see how you can make a difference. We look forward to helping you start this beautiful new chapter together.
