The National Brittany Rescue & Adoption Network (NBRAN) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of American Brittanys in need. We are a passionate alliance of volunteers united by our love for the breed and our commitment to ensuring these dogs find safe, loving, and permanent homes.
Our network of volunteers across the United States and Canada steps in when Brittanys are lost, abandoned, stray, or surrendered by owners who can no longer care for them. We recognize that life is full of unexpected events, and we provide a judgement-free space to help these dogs transition into a bright future. Because Brittanys are sensitive and active dogs, our focus is always on placing them in environments where they can thrive as cherished family members.
NBRAN is comprised entirely of unsalaried volunteers. We believe in providing the best care, so every rescue dog is fully vetted—including vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchipping, and spaying or neutering—before being made available for adoption. Most importantly, our rescue dogs are placed into loving foster homes, allowing us to assess each dog's unique personality and ensure they are ready for their forever family.
Adopting a pet pays you back tenfold. We take great care in matching the needs of our dogs with the right families to ensure a successful, lifelong bond. Whether you are looking for an active adventure partner or a gentle companion, we are here to support you in finding the perfect match.
There are many ways to make a difference, whether by opening your home as a foster, assisting with our transport team, or offering a donation to support our medical care efforts.
