Our Mission
Animal Compassion Team is dedicated to bringing positive change to the Central Valley of California by helping as many animals as possible through adoption, community education, and dedicated owner assistance. We believe that every pet deserves a loving home of their own, and we are committed to making the valley a better place for animals.
Our Story
Founded in 2009 with a we can do it attitude, we have spent over 16 years serving our community. Since our inception, we have positively impacted more than 20,000 animals, helping them stay in their homes or find new families to cherish them. Our commitment has only grown stronger as we continue to evolve to meet the needs of our local animal population.
Our Care Model
We operate a unique model that combines a physical facility, the Sofia Adoption Center, with a strong network of foster families. Many of our pets live in these foster homes before adoption, allowing them to experience a supportive family setting where they can relax and build confidence. This blend of environments ensures that our animals receive personalized care, enrichment, and socialization while they wait for their forever families.
