The Humane Society of Sedona is dedicated to improving the lives of companion animals in our community. We strive to build a caring environment where every adoptable and treatable pet finds a life-long, loving home.

Since 1966, we have proudly served Sedona and the Verde Valley, helping countless animals find their way to happy endings. As a non-profit organization, we remain committed to awareness, education, and providing quality care that meets the standards of the Association of Shelter Veterinarians.
Our Approach to Care
At our facility, the Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals, we provide a safe haven for pets while they wait for their forever families. We are proud to maintain a No-Kill status, meaning no healthy or treatable animal is ever euthanized for space or population control. Our dedicated staff and passionate volunteers work tirelessly to socialize our residents, while our foster program offers extra comfort and care for our most vulnerable animals outside the shelter walls.
