Our vision is to build a community free from animal cruelty and pet overpopulation while providing ongoing educational opportunities for future generations. We are committed to fostering a safer, more compassionate world for every animal in Clark County.
Our Story
The Clark County SPCA was formed in November of 2016 to bridge a critical gap in local animal welfare services. Recognizing a need for trained Humane Agents to investigate reports of neglect and a desire for better public education on responsible pet ownership, we stepped up to serve our neighbors in Ohio. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we are dedicated to professional service and the long-term well-being of our community’s animals.
How We Help
Our work is guided by a deep commitment to animal welfare, which includes the investigation of animal abuse and the promotion of responsible pet ownership through educational outreach. We actively contribute to reducing the number of unwanted pets in our area through both sterilization efforts and dedicated adoption services. By filling these essential service gaps, we help ensure that homeless animals receive the care and second chances they truly deserve.
