Our History of Heart and Community
Born from a dedicated group of volunteers passionate about animal welfare, we formally incorporated in 2013 to better support our shelter animals. Today, we proudly operate the Upland Animal Shelter on behalf of the City, working hand-in-hand with the community to give lost and abandoned animals a safe place to go.
How We Care for Our Animals
We operate as a no-kill facility, focusing on saving every shelter pet through comprehensive programs like foster care, specialized medical attention, and animal advocacy. Our dedicated team and extensive volunteer network ensure that each animal receives personalized support while awaiting their new beginning. By also operating the 2nd Chance Thrift Shop, we successfully fund these essential medical and sheltering services.
