Our Mission
Stray Hearts is a socially conscious animal shelter and adoption center dedicated to reuniting pets with their families and providing compassionate, humane care for surrendered, lost, and homeless dogs and cats. We are proud to serve the Taos community by providing safe shelter and finding loving homes for every animal in our care.

5/23 - Taos animal shelter enters into municipal contract with town 3 years after severing ties
Years after cutting ties with local governments over how much they were being paid, the Taos-area’s only animal shelter has a new agreement with the town, to help fund operations.
