Our Mission
Soul Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to saving lives through collaborative, targeted spay/neuter programs and proactive animal welfare initiatives. We work to create sustainable change and promote positive cultural shifts in the treatment of companion animals.
Our Story
Founded in 2010, our work began in the Four Corners region of the American Southwest to address the critical need for veterinary resources. We provide free and donation-based sterilization and vaccination services to underserved areas where such care was previously unavailable. Over the years, we have grown into a vital community resource, expanding our reach while remaining deeply committed to our roots.
Our Care Model
We are a small rescue with a big heart, operating both a shelter in Fort Lupton, Colorado, and an extensive foster network. By pulling animals from underserved communities and tribal lands, we offer them a second chance at life through medical care, rehabilitation, and socialization. Whether in our shelter or a loving foster home, every animal receives the compassionate attention they need to prepare for their next chapter.
