With 50 years of experience, we have evolved from our roots as the Animal Shelter of Wood River Valley into a comprehensive community pet support center. While we still provide a safe haven for animals, our work now spans far beyond traditional shelter services to keep families together and pets thriving.

Our modern animal welfare campus is designed to optimize care, providing ample kennel space and a supportive environment for animals in transition. For those who need extra comfort, we coordinate a dedicated foster network to ensure our most vulnerable residents—including stressed or very young animals—receive the personalized attention they need while awaiting their forever homes.
