Pedro Pet Pals is a dedicated non-profit committed to connecting loving families with pets in need through adoption and fostering. We strive to provide life-enhancing services and essential supplies to ensure our community's pets have every opportunity to thrive.
Our Story
Founded in 2009, our organization began with a simple but heartfelt mission to bring comfort to homeless animals in our community. Inspired by the needs of the City of Los Angeles Harbor Animal Shelter, we have spent over 15 years working to improve animal welfare and build a compassionate future for pets in San Pedro, the South Bay, and beyond.
How We Help
We work tirelessly to support local shelters by funding critical resources that go beyond standard budgets, including essential supplies and lifesaving medical equipment. Beyond our support for municipal shelters, we operate our own Hyla’s Cat Lounge in San Pedro and provide proactive spay/neuter programs to reduce pet overpopulation.
