The Betty J. Martin L.I.F.E. House for Animals is a no-kill, volunteer-operated facility dedicated to nurturing the human-animal bond through successful, permanent adoptions. We strive to prevent overpopulation while providing vital community education and compassionate care for our feline and canine guests.
Our Story

Michael Davenport and the persistent efforts of dedicated individuals like Betty J. Martin, we have spent 18 years serving as a haven for animals in need. We are a dream turned into reality, fueled by the hearts of volunteers who believe in a future where all pets are cherished companions.
How We Care
As a managed intake, no-kill facility, we ensure that every animal receives the individualized attention they deserve in a safe environment. We provide medical assessments, nutritious food, and plenty of socialization to prepare our residents for their forever homes. Our commitment to each guest is lifelong, as we provide the care they need for as long as it takes to find the perfect match.
