At Patty Baker Humane Society Naples, we are dedicated to sheltering animals in times of need, finding them life-long homes, and advocating for responsible, loving pet ownership. We believe that the bond between people and pets makes life better for everyone.
Our Story
Founded in 1960 by a group of neighbors who wanted more for local pets, we have served Southwest Florida for over 65 years. From our humble beginnings during Hurricane Donna to our current role as a vital community shelter, we remain committed to serving thousands of animals and families across Collier County each year.
How We Help
As an independent, gift-based nonprofit, we provide a safe, temporary haven for homeless animals, utilizing both our physical facilities and a robust foster network. Our team works hard to ensure every animal receives individualized attention, medical care, and behavioral support. We treat a shelter as a temporary stop, not a final destination, focusing on moving every pet into a loving home as quickly as possible.
