Connecticut Cat Connection is a volunteer-run, no-kill organization dedicated to the welfare of animals, committed to finding loving, forever homes for every cat in our care.
Founded in the 1980s as a one-person rescue, our organization has grown steadily over the decades to meet the increasing needs of our feline friends. We officially became a non-profit in 2007, and since opening our brick-and-mortar Adoption Center in Windsor, CT in 2010, we have successfully expanded our capacity to help hundreds of cats each year.
We operate as a volunteer-run shelter where we provide medical attention, vaccinations, testing, and spay/neuter services for strays, surrenders, and abandoned cats. Our facility includes dedicated spaces for our residents, and we utilize a robust network of foster homes to provide specialized care for kittens. Everything we do is powered by community contributions and the steadfast dedication of our volunteers.
We believe that successful adoptions are built on thoughtful connections, which is why we take the time to learn about our adopters and their lifestyles. By matching personalities and needs, we help ensure every adoption is a lifelong, joyful partnership. We are here to support you through the process, providing medical history and resources so you feel confident bringing your new family member home.
Ready to meet your new best friend? We invite you to visit our adoption center during our open hours to interact with our wonderful cats, or browse our website to complete an adoption application today. Whether you choose to adopt, volunteer, or support us through donations, you are helping us change lives and build a kinder future for cats in our community.
