The Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts (APCSM) is dedicated to creating a more compassionate community by providing safe shelter, loving care, and second chances for animals in need. We work tirelessly to prevent cruelty and foster lifelong, meaningful bonds between people and their animal companions.
Since 2009, we have been proud to serve Plymouth, Norfolk, and Bristol counties as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Over the last several years, we have helped over 12,000 animals find their forever homes, relying entirely on the generosity of our community to keep our doors open.
Our facility in Brockton serves as a managed-admission center where we provide comprehensive veterinary care, including exams, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services for every animal. While our shelter provides a vital safety net, our dedicated team works to maintain a supportive environment that prioritizes the comfort and well-being of the cats, dogs, and small animals in our care.
We believe that every adoption should be a safe, thoughtful, and lifelong partnership. Our adoption process is designed to help us learn about you and the needs of our animals, ensuring that we create matches that flourish for years to come. By choosing to adopt, you are not only welcoming a new family member, but you are also supporting a vital mission dedicated to the welfare of homeless animals in our community.
We invite you to experience the joy of adoption by viewing our available animals online or visiting our shelter during our public hours. Whether you are looking to bring home a new best friend or want to support our work through donations, we are so grateful to have you as part of our shelter community.
