Our Commitment to Care
Located in Crown Point and operating under the direction of the Lake County Sheriff’s Department, we serve as a vital resource for our local animal population. Each year, we provide refuge to over 800 animals, successfully placing 780 of them into new homes or partner rescues. This dedication to our residents is reflected in our 97.50% adoption rate, which stands as a testament to the hard work of our staff and the support of our neighbors.

Our shelter operates through a dedicated facility in Crown Point where we prioritize the well-being of every pet that comes through our doors. Beyond our professional staff, we rely on the kindness of volunteers who assist with daily functions, including walking dogs and playing with our cats, ensuring our animals receive the social interaction they need. We also maintain a transparent connection with our community by working with rescues when our facility reaches capacity to ensure no animal is left behind.
