Our Mission
Nose 2 Tail Cat Rescue is a dedicated 501(c)3 non-profit organization working to provide a safe haven for homeless cats and kittens in McDonald, PA. We are passionate about decreasing overpopulation and euthanasia rates through compassionate care, education, and thoughtful adoptions.
Who We Are
We are a 100% donation-run and volunteer-powered rescue, comprised of individuals who dedicate their free time to caring for the 20 to 40 cats and kittens currently under our care. Our small but mighty team works tirelessly to ensure every feline receives love, medical attention, and support while they wait for their forever homes.
Our Unique Care Model
We believe in a personalized approach to rescue, which is why we do not use cages in our facility. By keeping our environment open and home-like, we can provide a more comfortable experience for our residents, though this does mean we maintain a limited capacity and a waitlist for surrenders. We are proud to partner with Catalyst Pet, providing our adopters with sustainable litter to ensure a smooth transition for your new family member.
A Meaningful Match
Our goal is to find the absolute best match for both the cats and our adopters, ensuring long-term success for a commitment that can last 15 to 20 years. Because we are a volunteer-run organization, we take the time to carefully review applications to guarantee our cats find stable, loving, and permanent environments.
