Since 1982, We Care Animal Rescue has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for local companion animals by providing shelter, compassionate care, and vital community resources. We are committed to giving every animal in our care a second chance at finding their perfect forever home.

As a limited-admission, nonprofit shelter, we offer a dedicated space where animals receive medical assistance, daily enrichment, and personalized attention from our hardworking staff and volunteers. We invite you to visit us in St. Helena to meet our wonderful shelter residents. We are open for walk-ins Wednesday through Sunday, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. If those times do not work for you, please contact us to schedule an appointment—we cannot wait to introduce you to your next family member!
