Good Mews Animal Foundation offers a unique, no-kill, and virtually cage-free haven for homeless, abused, or abandoned cats in the metro Atlanta area. Our mission is to provide these deserving animals with a safe, loving environment until they find their permanent forever homes.

Our Story and Purpose

Founded in 1988, Good Mews was born from our founder’s vision to protect cats from neglect. We operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, relying solely on the generosity of our supporters and the dedication of our volunteers to serve our community and address the feline population crisis through outreach and education.

Our Care Model

At our state-of-the-art facility in Marietta, we prioritize the emotional and physical well-being of our approximately 100 residents by providing a clean, cage-free living space where cats can roam and socialize. For those with unique needs, we utilize a dedicated foster network and our special HALO program, which ensures cats with chronic medical conditions receive the ongoing support they need to thrive in a home setting.
