CHA Animal Shelter serves as a dedicated partner to the people and animals of Central Ohio by providing safe, temporary shelter and care for homeless dogs and cats. Our mission is to save lives and reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter services, education, and active community outreach.
Our History and Commitment
Since 1975, we have been a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to create a better future for local pets. In 2025 alone, our community helped 1,324 animals find loving, permanent homes through our collective compassion and generosity.
