Lucky Dawg Animal Rescue is dedicated to rescuing homeless, abused, and unwanted animals in our local communities. We are committed to rescuing the mistreated, saving the injured, and loving the abandoned.
Our Story
Our journey began with a senior pittie named Harry. When his former family found themselves in a difficult situation, our founder, Mary, opened her heart and home to him, proving that every animal deserves a loving, dignified life. Today, we honor Harry’s memory by striving to be the compassionate, caring people he knew and loved.
A Foster-Based Rescue
We are a no-kill, volunteer-run, and entirely foster-based organization. By relying on a dedicated network of foster families rather than a traditional kennel, we provide our animals with a safe, nurturing home environment while they wait for their forever families. This model allows us to save more lives and ensure every animal receives the individual attention they need to thrive.

We believe that successful adoptions are built on thoughtful, personalized connections. Our team takes considerable care to understand both the animal’s personality and the adopter’s lifestyle to create the very best match for everyone involved.
