Team Cat Rescue is dedicated to rescuing cats in need, ensuring that every life is valued, nurtured, and given the chance to thrive in a loving home. Together Every Animal Matters is not just our name—it is the heartbeat of everything we do.
Our Story
Founded in 2013 by two individuals driven by a shared love for cats, our organization was born from a commitment to help animals at risk in high-kill shelters and gassing pounds across Ontario and Quebec. We recognized that many cats were being overlooked due to their age, health, or behavioral needs, and we made it our mission to provide them with the second chance they deserve.
Our Care Model
We are a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization that relies on a dedicated network of foster homes to care for our cats. By providing a nurturing environment in foster care, we ensure our cats receive the attention, socialization, and medical preparation they need before meeting their forever families. This foster-based approach allows us to focus on the individual needs of each cat, preparing them for a smooth transition into their new homes.
