Our Mission
Kitty Kat Haven & Rescue is a dedicated, all-volunteer organization committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and finding of furrever homes for abandoned, stray, and injured cats of all ages.
Our Journey
Since obtaining our non-profit status in 2017, we have helped over 5,000 cats and kittens find the loving families they deserve. Based in Hoover, Alabama, we are proud to be a no-kill, no-cage sanctuary that has grown to support thousands of feline lives through dedicated rescue and, more recently, community-wide Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) initiatives.
A Haven of Care
We operate through a unique blend of care, utilizing our central location—The Haven—which provides a comfortable, cage-free environment for 50 to 55 adult and teenage cats. For our most vulnerable kittens and cats with special needs, we rely on a compassionate network of foster homes that expands to support over 300 cats during peak summer months.

By focusing on local adoptions within a 50-mile radius, we provide a vital safety net, ensuring that our volunteers are always nearby to support you and your new companion throughout your journey together.
