At Cat Town, our mission is to save the lives of at-risk cats, help them find loving homes, and advocate for a future where every cat is valued. We believe that every cat deserves a chance to thrive, no matter their starting point.
Founded in 2011 by Ann Dunn, Cat Town was born from a need to support cats that were being overlooked in municipal shelters—specifically those who were shy, senior, or required extra care. We challenged the outdated assumption that these vulnerable cats were unadoptable, proving instead that they were simply overwhelmed and in need of the right environment to shine.
We believe in removing the stress of the cage to help cats feel safe enough to be themselves. By utilizing a blend of a unique, cage-free cat cafe and adoption center alongside a dedicated network of foster homes, we provide the patient rehabilitation and medical support our cats need to build confidence. Whether it is senior cats needing medical attention or shy kittens learning to trust, our specialized programs ensure each cat receives the care they deserve while they wait for their perfect match.
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are here to ensure it starts on the right foot. Our counselors take the time to learn about your lifestyle, experience, and home environment to match you with a companion who fits perfectly into your life. We provide support throughout the process, focusing on building lasting, meaningful bonds between our cats and their new families.
