Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving German Shepherd Dogs from high-kill shelters. We are committed to giving these deserving dogs a second chance at life by finding them loving, qualified homes.

Our Care Model

We operate as a no-kill rescue, ensuring that the health and well-being of our dogs remain our top priority. We are proud to partner with Dr. Hernandez and the team at Ark Animal Hospital, who provide passionate and skilled veterinary care tailored to the unique needs of our rescues.

To ensure the best outcome, we ask that you start by submitting an online application. Once one of our volunteers reviews your information, we will be thrilled to help you find the right match for your lifestyle.

Supporting Your Journey

Our commitment to you and your new companion extends beyond the adoption day. We are excited to offer professional guidance through our trainer, Emily Roach of My Dog Is My Rock. As a special welcome, our adopters receive their first Saturday group training class for free at our Hill St. location, providing a great foundation for your new life together.
