City of Daphne Animal Shelter
Our Mission
The Dr. Albert Corte, Jr. Animal Shelter is dedicated to serving the Daphne community by providing a safe haven for animals in need and connecting them with their forever families. We believe every pet deserves a chance to find a loving home where they can thrive.
Who We Are
As part of the City of Daphne, our shelter plays a vital role in local animal welfare. We take in approximately 800 to 1,000 animals annually, working diligently to ensure each one receives the care and attention they deserve while waiting for their new beginning.
How We Care
Our facility provides a clean and professional environment for animals awaiting adoption. Beyond standard care, we offer resources for spay and neuter services, information on reclaiming lost pets, and robust volunteer opportunities for community members who wish to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our shelter residents.
Finding Your Perfect Companion
Adoption is a joyful partnership that brings lasting happiness to both pets and people. Our team is committed to helping you find the ideal match, ensuring that every adoption is a successful and rewarding experience for your household.
