Our Mission
No Greater Love Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to saving dogs and cats from high-kill shelters and dangerous situations. Since 2013, we have successfully rescued over 6,000 animals, building a bridge from uncertainty to loving, forever homes.
Why We Rescue
In the Deep South, limited access to affordable spay and neuter services frequently leads to shelter overcrowding. When healthy, adoptable animals run out of time, we step in to provide the safety, care, and second chances they deserve.
How We Work
We do not warehouse animals; instead, we focus on moving them into safe environments where they are vetted, rehabilitated, and loved. Each animal receives comprehensive veterinary care, including vaccinations and spay/neuter services, ensuring they are ready to thrive in their new lives. Our dedicated network of volunteers and fosters provides the stability and individual attention necessary for every pet’s successful transition.

We work closely with adopters—many located in the Northeast and Pennsylvania—to coordinate transport and provide ongoing support after your new companion arrives home. 10/7 - UPDATE: ADOPTED🎉 NOVA IS TINY, SCRUFFY, AND HAS ABSOLUTELY MASTERED THE “please take me home” face. 🥹💕 Meet Nova, a 2-year-old Chihuahua/Yorkie mix who looks like someone combined a Chihuahua, a tiny terrier, and approximately three wispy hairs into one ridiculously adorable little dog. 😂 She’s already past the puppy stage but still young, and judging by these pictures, she is VERY comfortable being held, cuddled and treated like the tiny princess she clearly believes she is. Nova is ready to trade rescue life for a lap of her very own. Who needs this scruffy little face looking at them every day?! 🩷 📍We are located in Fosters, AL and provide transport! We transport to the Northeast (CT, PA, VT) and anywhere along our route! $200 transport fee, if needed. Interested in adopting?
