Our Mission
Kitty Kat Haven & Rescue is a dedicated, all-volunteer organization committed to saving abandoned, stray, and injured cats and kittens. We strive to provide every feline in our care with a safe, loving environment and the comprehensive veterinary support they need to thrive.
Our Story
Since obtaining our 501(c)3 non-profit status in May 2017, we have been proud to help over 5,000 cats and kittens find their perfect forever homes. We believe in offering a no-kill, no-cage sanctuary where every cat is given a second chance at a long, happy life.
Our Care Model
We operate from a central location in Hoover, Alabama, known as The Haven, which provides a comfortable home for 50 to 55 adult and teenage cats. Beyond our facility, we rely on a robust network of foster homes that primarily support our kittens and cats with special medical needs. This collaborative approach allows us to give each rescue the tailored attention and rehabilitation they deserve.

Finding the right match is a journey we take very seriously, as many of our cats have overcome difficult backgrounds. We work closely with prospective adopters to ensure a lifelong, loving partnership that benefits both the human family and our feline residents. Your patience during our application process helps us ensure that every placement is a success story.
