Cattyshack, Inc.

A Second Chance for Every Kitten

Cattyshack, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of shelter cats across Alabama. We believe in creating a community where every cat receives the love and care they deserve on their journey to a forever home.

Our Mission and Origin

Established in 2019, our organization was founded to provide essential support for cats in need. By providing food, medical supplies, and covering all veterinary care, we ensure our rescue animals receive the best start possible before they find their perfect family.

How We Operate

Our rescue is powered by a dedicated foster network, as our cats live in loving foster homes rather than a facility. This foster-based model allows us to focus on the individual needs of each kitten, ensuring they are healthy, happy, and well-socialized while they wait for their forever match.

The Adopter Connection

Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are committed to helping you find the right companion for your lifestyle. While our Cattyshack Lounge at Lowe Mill serves as a space for socialization and community connection, the real magic happens when you bring a new member into your family through our thoughtful application process.

Join Our Mission

Whether you are looking to adopt, want to visit our lounge to play with our residents, or are interested in supporting our work, there are many ways to get involved. We invite you to explore our available cats, join us for a visit, or learn more about how you can volunteer or foster today.
