Claresholm Animal Rescue Society
Our Mission
The Claresholm Animal Rescue Society (CAReS) is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment for homeless and unwanted animals while advocating for the humane treatment of all living things. We believe every animal deserves a full tummy, a warm bed, and the best chance at finding a loving forever home.
Why We Are Here
We work to address the critical need for animal welfare in our community by providing essential care and medical treatment to strays and surrendered pets. By promoting responsible pet ownership, including spay and neuter initiatives, we strive to reduce animal overpopulation and inspire compassion throughout Claresholm.
How We Care
Our organization operates a dedicated shelter where our team ensures every animal receives daily care, socialization, and medical attention. We also utilize a vital network of foster homes to provide specialized support for pregnant cats, kittens, and animals requiring extra recovery time. This collaborative approach allows us to save more lives and ensure our animals are healthy and ready for their new families.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe that adoption is a joyful partnership, and our volunteers are committed to making thoughtful, lasting matches. Because we get to know each pet’s unique personality, we work closely with you to ensure your new companion is the perfect fit for your home and lifestyle. We are here to support you through the process, ensuring both you and your new pet feel confident and happy in your transition together.
