Verde Valley Humane Society
Our Mission
The Verde Valley Humane Society is dedicated to providing a healthy, caring environment for our shelter animals until they are reunited with their families or find their forever homes. The adoption of homeless pets is our most important job.
Serving the Verde Valley
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we serve Cottonwood and communities throughout Arizona’s Verde Valley. We advocate for the respect of all animals by practicing socially conscious sheltering, ensuring we provide the best possible outcomes for every cat and dog that comes through our doors.
How We Care for Our Animals
We provide temporary shelter, professional veterinary care, and essential services like microchipping and foster placement. When our shelter reaches capacity or a pet needs a little extra help, our dedicated foster homes provide the specialized attention and comfort these animals need to thrive before adoption.
Finding Your Perfect Companion
We believe that every adoptable animal deserves a safe, loving home. Whether you are looking for a new disc partner for the park or a cozy roommate to curl up with at home, our team is here to help you make a meaningful connection. We are committed to thoughtful, transparent services that celebrate the joy of bringing a rescue pet into your life.
Join Us in Making a Difference
