High Desert Humane Society, Inc.
Our Mission
The High Desert Humane Society is a passionate, non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. We are committed to preventing animal cruelty, promoting spaying and neutering to limit pet populations, and providing a safe, compassionate haven for every animal in our care.
Why We Serve
Located in Globe, Arizona, our society exists because every dog and cat deserves a second chance at a loving, forever home. By advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves, we strive to educate our community on humane animal care while offering relief to animals suffering in our region.
Our Approach to Care
We provide a dedicated shelter environment where our team of passionate animal lovers ensures every pet receives the attention they deserve. Our cat house features a large, enclosed space allowing cats to roam safely both indoors and outdoors, while our dogs benefit from active staff engagement and care. We are constantly working to improve our facilities, including recent additions to our cat house, to ensure our residents remain happy and comfortable while awaiting their new families.
A Joyful Partnership
Adopting a pet is a transformative experience that brings unconditional love, comfort, and structure into your daily life. Whether you are looking for a loyal walking companion or a soothing presence in your home, adopting a shelter animal creates a powerful, fulfilling bond. Our team is here to support you throughout the process, ensuring that each match is thoughtful, relaxed, and fun for both the adopter and the pet.
