Desert Paws Rescue is dedicated to providing a new beginning for animals in need, offering a vital second chance at a happy ending for those who might otherwise be euthanized. We strive to be their voice and provide the care necessary to help every rescue transition into a loving forever home.
Why We Do It
Since 2008, we have been working to address the high homeless pet population in Arizona. By focusing on animals at risk due to illness, behavior, or specific medical conditions like Ringworm, FIV, and FeLV, we provide the specialized attention these pets deserve. We believe in educating our community on the importance of spay, neuter, and a commitment to a healthy-pet-lifestyle to ensure a brighter future for all animals.
How We Operate
Desert Paws Rescue is a volunteer-driven, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates entirely through a network of safe and loving foster homes rather than a traditional facility. Because our animals are cared for in personal homes, we prioritize transparency and care in everything we do. This foster-based approach allows us to provide a nurturing environment while our cats and dogs await their perfect matches.
