Grateful Hearts Animal Rescue
Our Mission
Grateful Hearts Animal Rescue is an Arizona 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to helping stray, hurt, and abandoned cats and kittens find their loving forever homes. Since 2019, we have saved over 2,150 kitties, ensuring every cat receives the care and compassion they deserve.
Why We Are Here
Founded in September 2019, our rescue was built to provide a lifeline for cats facing the stressful environment of local shelters. We step in to help, particularly for those in medical or behavioral situations, ensuring they receive the support they need to thrive. We believe that every cat—from kittens to seniors—brings laughter, emotional support, and comfort to their people.
Our Foster-Based Approach
We operate as a foster-based rescue, meaning all of our kitties are cared for in loving homes rather than a facility. Each foster family treats their temporary residents like their own, providing essential socialization, medical care, and a warm family environment. Because we do not house adoptable cats at our thrift store, this model ensures every animal is well-prepared for their next chapter.
Finding Your Purr-fect Match
At Grateful Hearts, we believe every kitty has a family waiting for them. We focus on thoughtful, personal connections, allowing potential adopters to get to know each cat’s unique personality before bringing them home. Our team is dedicated to guiding you through the adoption process so that your new companion is a joy for your household.
