Home Fur Good is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue organization dedicated to eliminating the euthanasia of treatable, adoptable cats and dogs in Arizona. We combine medical intervention, community awareness, and heartfelt placements to give every animal the loving future they deserve.
Founded in 2009 by a group of passionate animal welfare advocates in Phoenix, our organization emerged from a critical need to address high euthanasia rates in Maricopa County. Since our establishment, we have remained steadfast in our mission to provide a compassionate alternative for homeless pets in our community.
At our Phoenix facility, our dedicated staff and volunteers provide a clean, comfortable, and loving environment for every animal in our care. We prioritize the well-being of our rescues through nutritious food, daily exercise, and comprehensive medical support, ensuring they are healthy and happy while awaiting their forever homes.
We believe that adoption is a joyful, lifelong partnership, and we work hard to ensure that every placement meets both the animal's needs and the lifestyle of the prospective adopter. Our adoption process is designed to be personal and thorough, allowing our counselors to help you find the perfect companion for your family. We require in-person meets to ensure a successful connection and, for our canine friends, a meet-and-greet with any existing household dogs.
Whether you are looking to open your heart to a new companion, offer your time as a volunteer, or support us through a donation, you are welcome here. We invite you to browse our current list of adoptable dogs and cats online or visit us at our Phoenix shelter to meet your new best friend in person. Together, we can continue to create fur-ever success stories for animals in need.
