Miss Kitty's Cat House
Our Mission
Miss Kitty’s Cat House is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of kittens and cats, striving to find them safe, loving, and forever homes. Since 2002, we have remained committed to providing a compassionate bridge for feline friends in need.
A History of Care
What began as a small operation in a bungalow on Granite Street has grown into a cherished part of the Prescott community. Thanks to a generous endowment, we were able to purchase and renovate a historic Victorian home on North Alarcon Street, which has served as our beautiful, comfortable base for rescuing and caring for cats since 2010.
Our Care Model
We operate as a unique, volunteer-run rescue where adult cats enjoy a cage-free, home-like environment while they await their forever families. Our dedicated team of volunteers provides daily care, including cleaning, feeding, and socializing, ensuring each cat is well-loved and healthy. Kittens are cared for in foster homes and join us for adoption events, allowing every cat in our program to receive the attention they deserve.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe that adoption is a joyful partnership, which is why we take the time to ensure a great fit for both you and your future companion. Visiting our house allows you to meet our cats on neutral ground and observe their unique personalities in a safe, stress-free space. We are here to help you navigate this transition and provide the support needed to welcome a new member into your home.
