Desert Tails Shelter
Our Mission
Desert Tails Shelter is dedicated to saving the abandoned, the unwanted, and the abused. Since 2018, we have been working tirelessly to give these resilient animals the second chances they deserve.
Why We Exist
Operating as a 501(c)(3) charity in Scottsdale, Arizona, we are here to support dogs that have been left behind or are at high risk of euthanasia. We believe every dog has a unique story, and we are committed to providing the love, care, and medical attention required to transform their lives.
Our Commitment to Care
We are a 100% donor-funded, volunteer-operated facility that provides a climate-controlled, no-kill shelter environment. Beyond our own walls, we collaborate with rescues and animal advocates in neighboring areas and states to help facilitate care and transport from high-kill zones to safety. We pride ourselves on being a supportive resource for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
Finding Your Forever Friend
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are here to help you find a companion that is the perfect fit for your lifestyle. By working together, we ensure that dogs who may have never known love before can finally thrive in a stable, permanent home.
