Saving One Life
Our Mission
Saving One Life Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is dedicated to protecting and providing for at-risk companion animals through an unwavering commitment to a never-kill philosophy. We strive to create a better world for cats and dogs in need by bridging the gap between resources, community outreach, and compassionate care.
Our History and Community
Established in 2009, we are a volunteer-run, non-profit organization serving canines and felines in need throughout Arizona and Southern California. We actively partner with local shelters and community members to rescue animals that are abandoned or at-risk for euthanasia, ensuring every life we touch has the opportunity to thrive.
How We Help
We operate primarily as a foster-based rescue, placing our animals in loving homes where they receive personalized attention while they await their forever families. Every adoptable pet is thoroughly vetted—including spay/neuter services, microchipping, and behavioral assessments—to ensure they are healthy, happy, and prepared for their new lives. For animals who are not suitable for traditional adoption, we provide dedicated sanctuary care for the duration of their lives.
Your Adoption Journey
We believe that finding your perfect companion should be a joyful and supportive experience. Our team carefully reviews every adoption application to ensure the best possible match between our animals and your family. Whether you are welcoming a new friend into your home or supporting our work through volunteering, you are helping us change lives.

10/5 - FeLV is often misunderstood, but we know a positive test doesn’t mean these five kittens aren’t deserving of a happy, love-filled future. When we said YES to all five, we didn’t just promise them safety today, we knew we were committing to supporting their care for the rest of their lives. That’s a big promise, and we need your help keeping it. 🐾 We’re raising $5,000 for the FeLV Five, and even $5 makes a difference. If everyone who sees their story gives just a few dollars, together we can make sure these babies have everything they need for whatever comes next. Please donate, share, and help us keep saying YES🩵

10/5 - Money can’t buy happiness… but it can get you a rescue kitten. And that’s pretty much the same thing. 🐱💗 You’ll be happier, they’ll be happier. It’s a win-win. #rescuekitten #adoptdontshop
