Humane Society of Yuma
Our Mission
The Humane Society of Yuma is dedicated to saving lives and reducing the number of homeless pets through proactive adoption, rescue, and spay and neuter programs. Our goal is to ensure every animal we encounter has the opportunity for a happy, healthy future.
Our History and Commitment
Since 1963, we have been devoted to the rescue, care, and placement of Yuma's orphaned and homeless pets. As a non-profit organization, we address the critical community need for population control and humane animal welfare, working tirelessly to provide a better future for every animal in our care.
Our Care Model
We provide a safe, nurturing shelter environment where every animal is treated with dignity and patience. From daily fresh food and comfortable bedding to 45 minutes of outside time for every dog, our dedicated staff ensures that every resident receives quality care while they wait to meet their new family.
Finding Your Perfect Match
Adoption is a joyful journey, and we believe in creating lasting partnerships between pets and people. Whether you are looking for a new best friend or a companion for your home, our expert team is here to guide you. We focus on thoughtful matching to ensure that both the animal and your household thrive together for years to come.
