Bella Vista Animal Shelter
Our Mission
Our shared mission is to rescue and rehabilitate the lost and homeless animals of Bella Vista, providing them with food, shelter, and medical care until they are reunited with their families or find their loving forever homes.
A History of Compassion
Founded in 1985 from a simple act of kindness, the Bella Vista Animal Shelter has grown from a humble 8’x12’ shed into a dedicated sanctuary. For decades, our community has rallied behind us to expand our facilities, allowing us to care for hundreds of dogs and cats every year while maintaining our official no-kill designation since 2009.
Our Commitment to Care
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that relies on the generosity of our community, staff, and volunteers to keep our doors open 365 days a year. Every animal in our care receives fresh food, clean living spaces, and essential medical attention, including spay or neuter services, vaccinations, and microchipping, ensuring they are healthy and ready for their next chapter.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe that every pet has a perfect home waiting for them, and we are here to help you find your new best friend. By taking the time to understand what you need in a companion, we can facilitate a thoughtful, joyful connection that enriches both your life and the animal's world.
Join Our Mission
Are you ready to meet your new family member? We invite you to visit us in person at 32 Bella Vista Way to see our adoptable residents and speak with our staff about our adoption process. Whether you adopt, volunteer, or support our upcoming events, your involvement directly impacts the lives of the animals who need us most.
