Maumelle Animal Services
Our Mission
City of Maumelle Animal Services is dedicated to the well-being of our community's animals through professional care, dedicated service, and a commitment to responsible pet ownership. We strive to provide a safe, supportive environment for every animal in our care while serving as a trusted resource for all Maumelle residents.
Serving Our Community
Our department is more than just a shelter; we are a vital part of Maumelle’s commitment to animal welfare. By enforcing local and state ordinances and fostering strong relationships with law enforcement and veterinary partners, we work tirelessly to ensure that our pets and citizens thrive together.
How We Care
We pride ourselves on innovation and compassionate care, having implemented Arkansas’ first shelter-based spay/neuter program for adoptable stray and abandoned animals. Our team maintains our shelter facility with care and relies on a community of volunteers to help provide the best possible experience for our residents. Whether through our shelter staff or our dedicated foster network, we are always working to ensure our animals are healthy, loved, and ready for their forever homes.
Connect With Your New Best Friend
Adoption is the start of a beautiful partnership, and we are here to help you find the perfect match for your home and lifestyle. We encourage you to meet the wonderful dogs and cats currently waiting for their families. By choosing to adopt, you are giving a deserving animal a second chance at a happy, full life.
