The NWA Humane Society for Animals, Inc. is a dedicated no-kill shelter in Rogers, Arkansas, committed to helping local animals find loving, permanent homes. Since 1963, we have served our community by providing shelter, spay and neuter services, and essential care for dogs and cats in need.
Our journey began with a simple mission to protect animals that others might overlook, and today, that passion continues under the leadership of our director, Clay Morgan. Operating out of our modern, purpose-built facility at 1st and Nursery Road, we provide a safe haven for approximately 85 dogs and 20 cats at any given time, annually welcoming around 800 dogs into our care.
Beyond our local shelter work, we serve as an emergency transport hub, collaborating with partners across the state and the nation to give animals second chances. We focus our efforts on the rural Benton County area, taking in strays and animals from local control agencies, ensuring every pet receives vaccinations and medical treatment before being placed in a new home.
We believe that adopting a pet is a joyful, lifelong partnership that deserves careful thought and preparation. Our dedicated Adoption Counselors work closely with every visitor, ensuring that each animal is matched with a home that fits their unique personality and needs. We invite you to visit our facility to bond with your future best friend and experience the difference our community-focused approach makes.
Are you ready to find your new family member? We invite you to browse our adoptable pets online or visit our Rogers facility to meet the wonderful dogs and cats currently in our care. You can also support our life-saving work by donating or volunteering as part of our big, happy family.
