The Humane Society of Marion County Arkansas is a dedicated non-profit, no-kill organization committed to rescuing and rehoming abandoned, abused, and unwanted animals. We believe every pet deserves a fresh start in a loving, permanent home.
Established in 2003, we are an entirely volunteer-run organization that operates independently of any national society, local government, or animal control agency. We exist solely through the generosity of our supporters and the hard work of volunteers who share a common vision of compassion for animals in need.
We take pride in our beautiful, donated shelter facility, which houses both a dedicated dog shelter and a cat rescue home. Because we rely entirely on our volunteer team, we operate on an appointment-only basis to ensure every animal receives the personalized attention they deserve. All of our rescued dogs and cats are spayed, neutered, and fully vaccinated before they are ready to meet their future families.
Finding your perfect match is a partnership that starts with self-reflection and care. We encourage adopters to consider their own lifestyles, time commitments, and experience levels to ensure a sustainable, lifelong bond with their new companion. Our team is here to guide you through this process, helping you transition from browsing our website to meeting our furry residents in person.
Whether you are ready to adopt, donate, or volunteer your time, there are many ways to get involved with our rescue group. Please visit our available pets online to see who might be waiting for you, or reach out to us by phone or our website contact form to schedule an appointment. We look forward to introducing you to your new best friend.
