At Katie’s Place, we believe the life of every animal is precious, and we are dedicated to ensuring every cat in our care receives the love and support they deserve. We are a volunteer-run, nonprofit no-kill animal shelter in Maple Ridge, BC, committed to improving the quality of life for every resident we welcome.
Our shelter’s journey began in a humble barn belonging to our very first resident, Katie, who remains the heart and soul of our name. Since those early days, we have grown into a vital sanctuary that continues to carry forward her legacy by providing a safe, forever haven for those in need.
Operating as a dedicated shelter, we provide a comfortable environment for up to 125 cats at any given time. Our facility serves as a vital transition point for cats recovering from hardship, newcomers finding their footing, and our special FIV/FeLV+ kitties who are patiently dreaming of finding a place to call their own.
We believe in the value of every life, regardless of age, breed, or health status, and we invite you to be part of their beautiful future. Adopting from us means choosing to change a life forever, and we are here to help you find the perfect companion to join your family. We celebrate the unique bond between our residents and the wonderful people who open their hearts to them.
We invite you to meet our adorable residents, including our sweet seniors and special needs stars, every Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 2 PM at 10255 Jackson Road. You can also view all our currently available kitties on Petfinder or reach out to us at info@katiesplace.ca to learn more about our adoption process.
