Our History and Mission
For over 40 years, we have been on the front lines of the fight against pet homelessness in Los Angeles. From pioneering crucial spay/neuter ordinances to operating our long-standing Spaymobile, we work tirelessly to address the root causes of overpopulation through community education and direct intervention.
A Unique Approach to Care
We are proud to be the only animal charity in Los Angeles that owns and operates a full-service veterinary hospital, Dr. Shipp’s Animal Hospital. This facility ensures that every animal we rescue receives expert medical attention, from routine checkups to specialized surgery, until they are ready to join their new families.

10/6 - What a pawsome Sunday at All Saints’ 🐾 Yesterday, we welcomed people and their furry family members for our annual Blessing of the Animals, from the pews to the patio. No bones about it, this is one of our favorite days of the year! Dogs, cats, and stuffed animals were blessed as we gathered to celebrate the Feast of St. Francis with plenty of smiles, pets, and tail wags. We’re not kitten around when we say the love in the courtyard was something special ❤️ A special thank you to the @amandafoundation for joining us with dogs and puppies looking for their fur-ever homes, and to the Beverly Hills Police Department for bringing their therapy dog, Nami, who stole many hearts 🐶 St. Francis reminds us that caring for animals is an act of love, and love in all of its forms is always welcome here! #episcopalian #losangeleschristians #losangeleschurches

9/30 - This Sunday, bring your furry (or feathered, or scaly) friends to All Saints’ 🐾❤️ Andy and Nina would like to personally invite you to our annual Blessing of the Animals this Sunday, October 4 from 11:30 am to noon on the patio. 9/27 - When we first pulled Baxter(gray Aussie mix) from the shelter, he was quite dog reactive. But through consistency, training, and play groups he has made a 180 degree turnaround!! We are so proud of him!! He is ready to for his next personal growth adventure in a new home! He is high energy, very smart, good with other dogs with the right introductions( we would help with that of course!) he is a medium-sized dog, and if that sounds like your next best friend, call 310-278-2935!
