The Humane Society of Imperial County is dedicated to enhancing the relationship between people and animals by placing homeless pets into loving homes, providing affordable resources, and promoting humane education.
Our Story
We are a private, non-profit organization serving the rural agricultural communities of the Imperial Valley. Operating independently of larger national organizations, our team works tirelessly to bridge the gap in animal welfare resources for our region.
How We Help
Since 2014, our commitment has transformed our facility into a place of hope, where we now maintain a near-zero euthanasia rate for adoptable animals. We collaborate with local municipal agencies to care for stray and abandoned pets, while partnering with an extensive rescue network to give every animal the best chance at a furever home.
