Our Mission

Solano County Animal Care is devoted to providing comfort, care, and compassion to animals in need through shelter, education, adoption, spay/neuter services, and community outreach.

Serving Our Community

We are proud to serve the residents and animals of seven surrounding cities: Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Vacaville, and Vallejo. Our dedicated team works tirelessly toward the common goal of increasing our live release rate, improving animal-to-owner reunifications, and ensuring the welfare of all animals in our care.

How We Operate

Operating from our facility in Fairfield, we offer a welcoming environment for both animals and our human visitors. Beyond our shelter services, we support our community through a low-cost clinic for vaccinations, microchipping, and licensing, as well as robust foster and volunteer programs.
