Fresno Animal Center
Our Mission
The Fresno Animal Center is dedicated to increasing live outcomes for animals by providing a welcoming space for pets waiting to find their forever homes. We strive to reunite lost companions with their families while working with our community to ensure every pet receives the care and second chance they deserve.
Serving Our Community
Built by the City of Fresno, our center provides state-mandated animal control services and essential support for our local homeless pet population. We exist to be a resource for residents, helping to streamline access to pet care and fostering a safer environment for both animals and their owners.
How We Care
Our facility offers a temporary sanctuary where pets are nurtured while they await adoption. We emphasize compassionate care and rely on the support of our dedicated volunteers, fosters, and rescue partners to help every animal in our care thrive. By offering programs like spay and neuter services and microchipping, we actively work to prevent homelessness and keep pets happy and healthy.
Find Your New Best Friend
Adoption is a beautiful partnership, and our team is here to help you find the perfect match for your home and lifestyle. Whether you are looking for a playful dog, a loving cat, or a unique small critter, your new companion is waiting to meet you. We believe in the power of responsible adoption to change lives, and we invite you to be part of that journey.
