AnimalSave
Transforming Lives Together
AnimalSave is dedicated to transforming the lives of cats and dogs in our community by providing humane education, affordable spay and neuter services, and finding loving homes. We are committed to a future where all animals are valued and treated with kindness and compassion.
Our Legacy of Care
Since 1973, we have served as a vital resource in Nevada County, evolving to meet the changing needs of our animal friends. We believe that by providing a continuum of care—from spay and neuter services to specialized rescue—we can help every animal become a wanted animal.
Our Approach to Animal Welfare
We operate through a dedicated network of foster homes and our local adoption facility in Grass Valley. Our foster-based model allows us to provide dogs and cats with socialization, medical attention, and the love they need before transitioning into their forever families. We are supported by a passionate team of volunteers who ensure every animal receives the care they deserve.
A Meaningful Partnership
Adoption is a joyful journey, and we take great care to ensure that every match is a success for both you and your new companion. Because we prioritize thoughtful placements and ensure each pet is fully prepared for their new home, we create lasting bonds that enrich lives. When you adopt from us, you gain a partner in your pet’s lifelong wellness.
